With HYP Lubricant®, HY-Power offers its own lubricant line for special applications in rail transport. Biodegradable, economical to dose and individually adapted to different requirements.

#1 Greases
HYP-F
Our HYP-F series covers consistency classes 000 to 2 and thus offers the right solution for the varying demands of lubricating rail flanks, check rails and retarders. Matched to our lubrication systems, the lubricants allow targeted and reliable lubrication and so help reduce wear and noise emissions in the wheel–rail contact.

#2 Friction modifiers
HYP-K
The HYP-K series was developed specifically to reduce noise emissions at the rail head. Unlike classic rail lubrication, the rail head is not lubricated but deliberately conditioned. Consistency classes 1 and 2 are matched to this application and to the small output quantities it requires.
Several studies confirm not only the noise-reducing effect of our friction modifiers, but also that the friction at the rail head required for safe running and braking is retained.

#3 Switch lubricants
HYP-W
Our HYP-W series was developed for special applications such as lubrication in switch areas. The particularly low consistency class 0000 allows the lubricant to spread evenly across the slide chair and so supports reliable, smooth movement of the entire switch.
